Create Anima

There are two ways to create your Anima:

• Proceed with the onboarding process on one of our partners' platforms
• Go to our App 👉  https://app.anima.io/

1. In this tutorial, imagine you we want to use the Underscore Exchange.

As part of the onboarding process, the Exchange requires identity verification.

As you don’t have an Anima yet, click on “Start Verification”. You will have the opportunity to create your Anima latter on, during the verification process.

1. For this first step; you will have to go through a liveness session. You will simply have to look at the camera and to follow the instructions.

Hint: Make sure the light around you is correctly balanced: not too bright and not too dark. You will also need to grant permission to your browser to access your camera.

1. For this second step, you now have to provide us with your identity document.

Before sharing your document, you need to select the country that issued the document.

Unfortunately, not all countries are accepted. The accepted country list is set by the platform or web app you are visiting (in our example, Underscore Exchange). This limitation is directly related to their compliance requirements.

1. You must now specify the type of the document you wish to use. As mentioned before, the liste is limited by Underscore Exchange, depending on its compliance requirements.

You can see all possible documents available.

1. Depending on the type of document you selected, you will be prompted to upload or capture one of the document side. Follow the instruction on the app. You can directly capture your documents with smartphone if it’s more convenient.

Only .jpeg, .png, .jpg and .pdf are accepted.

1. In order to ensure that the photo you provide will allow us to verify your identity, you have to check 3 points in order to continue :

• The quality of the document
• The 4 corners of the document are visibles
• The document is still valid
